EnvirotilePV Solar

Welcome to EnvirotilePV Solar

The Envirotile roof range, has just gotten greener with a fully compatible lightweight solar system that seamlessly integrates into its aesthetic. This compatibility ensures efficiency and functionality. By choosing roof tiles that harmonise with cutting-edge solar technology, buildings can enjoy the benefits of renewable energy while maintaining the traditional charm and character of British architecture. With the Envirotile range, fitting in does not mean sacrificing style for sustainability; instead, it offers a perfect marriage of both.

Clean Lines. Clean Energy.

EnvirotilePV is designed to integrate seamlessly into the Envirotile roof system using the patented 8Fix fixing system. This unique installation method ensures that each solar panel locks directly into place, just like a standard Envirotile, with no need for additional mounting frames or brackets.

The 8Fix system securely fastens the PV panel to the roof structure, maintaining a flush, low-profile appearance with no visible gaps or raised sections. This not only enhances aesthetics but also improves weather resistance and reduces wind uplift risk.

By aligning perfectly with surrounding Envirotiles, EnvirotilePV becomes a fully integrated part of the roofing system—delivering clean energy without compromising on design, durability, or performance.

1 PV Tile

1 Tile equates to 25W which can run 3 LED Light bulbs.

5 PV Tiles

5 tiles equate to 125W. With 8 hours of sunlight per day, will provide an indicative 1KWp of power per day.

5kw System

A 5kw system would equate to 200 tiles. This would generate between 5,400 - 9,000 kWh per year.

3 Bedroom House

The average 3 bedroom house would commonly need a 3 - 3.5 Kwp system. This would require 120 - 140 tiles.

EnvirolayFR

  • Envirolay insulated fireproof underlay is the next generation of tough, high performance pitched roofing underlay.
  • It is a type FR underlay and roof space ventilation is required at both high and low level.
  • Envirolay is BRE and Exova certified.
  • Suitable for both warm and cold roof, supported and unsupported, ventilated roof constructions throughout the UK.
  • The flame retardant woven glass fibre cloth and aluminium foil weave has a high nail tear resistance which makes it untearable in normal use.
  • The thermal reflectivity of the material is designed to reduce the convection and radiant heat loss through the roof.
  • In the summer months it reduces heat entering into the building, but also helps to maintain the heat in the building during the winter.

Designed With Labour In Mind

  • Roofers can now fit solar.
  • With the 8Fix fixing system, it interlocks with the envirotile Roofing Tiles & Slates.
  • Saving time and labour with the need of only 1 trade.
  • Just watch the video to see how easy it is done.
